I am currently in graduate school at a CSU. I had my federal loans suspended by the financial aid office because I received a NC for both of my classes. I’ve already appealed and the FA office has stated that I would be reinstated for the Winter quarter once I pass my classes for this upcoming quarter, Fall, that will start in late September. My gpa was not affected, it is at a 3.1. As of now my only option is to apply for a private student loan in order to pay for parking, books, etc.
I want to apply for a private graduate student loan at Wells Fargo. It states that the check will be sent to the school and then disbursed to me. Will my status with my schools FA office affect my ability to get any type of student loan from anywhere?
