Question regarding PIN usage

With the PIN, can I list (online) an SAT score that I didn’t put down (which I didn’t even mention the test date) on the mailed copy of common app?

I took the SAT several times (school requirement) and I found out today (score delay) that I did much better on my past SAT (junior year) than the most recent one I’ve taken.
But unfortunately, I didn’t write down my highest SAT score on the common app, thinking that I would score higher in October test.

You can report scores on the site using the PIN. However, they will see every test you’ve taken in your score report and it likely won’t matter that you didn’t mention it on your common application.
For example, the site told me that they have recorded a testing date from 2003 that I had near forgotten about. haha.

When did you get your PIN, Candlize??
I’ve sent my app like two weeks ago, but I still can’t retrieve my PIN online (don’t know why…) Should I call again and ask what my PIN is?

…and I highly doubt that I will get it by mail because I didn’t even receive the college applicaiton that I requested during the summer

I’d suggest giving the admissions office just a little time. I submitted my application on Oct 1, so I’ve had my pin for a while.

Admissions officers have started reading their applications and will go into meetings in two weeks. Best of luck, guys!

xjayz, you seem to be really informed about the admissions process…r u somehow affiliated with harvard admissions?

No, I am a student here who has friends who work there.

Will the interviews figure into the admissions process or no? I.e. will your app go to the committee for the final decision if you haven’t had your interview yet or will they wait until you’ve had it?

good question

They will read after you have completed your interview. Several candidates have finished their interviews already.

Will they read it AFTER you have the SAT/ACT (last option from oct/nov) scores come in?

bump please
