Hi. I am a senior and I recently started working under a professor for research at Princeton. I have two questions regarding this. My first question is I would like to also send a recommendation from my professor on top of the two I am using for the common app. How do I do that? Also, chances are my research paper wont be done by the EA deadline (probably finish by dec/jan) but I want to apply EA. If I apply EA, can i send in my research paper later? Another question aside from that is that I am probably taking the Oct ACT. Will i be able to submit those scores after the EA dealing? Please help. Thanks

It will be nice if somebody can help me with this issue

I don’t think colleges have the time to read your research paper, even if you send it in on time. I would just put it down as an EC along with your summer research. As for the recommendation from your professor, you would have to it into the supplemental section of the Common App. I believe that once you choose which colleges to send the ACT scores to, they will receive it even after you finished applying to EA. So they will accept it as soon as it is released.

Call up or email princeton’s admissions office.

Thanks guys. One more question though. Do you think my chances of getting into princeton would be higher because I am doing research there? Or does stuff like that not matter.
