<p>I was interested in applying to Penn State but didn’t know if it would be a waste of time because of how late it is. Am i penalized at all for applying past the first notification period? Also, what do think my chances of admittance are?</p>

<p>Penn State has rolling admissions, so it is not too late. Even if you don’t get into U. Park, you can go to a branch and have automatic rights to transfer in 2 years (or less). The branches also offer smaller class sizes.</p>
