Do transfer students have a chance of not getting into any colleges?

I applied for a transfer for Fall 2011 and wants to know if I got accepted. I know 1 of my choices rejected me & I’m worried the rest will too.

It depends on the schools you applied to. If you applied to a safety or two then there’s a chance that you’ll get in somewhere, but if you applied to a bunch of reaches then theres a chance you won’t get in. Good luck! I hope that you get into the school of your choice!

Unless a college has some sort of guaranteed admission, colleges accept/deny/WL individually, so yes, there is a possibility of not getting into any as a transfer.

I feel like there’s no hope for me now…

I applied for CUNY, but if I didn’t get accepted to any of them, how would I know? They don’t send out rejection letters. I’ll only be hearing from the school I got accepted to.

It’s absolutely possible to get rejected from all of them. As long as you picked safety schools, you should be fine.

As for the CUNY, I guess you’ll know when you receive an acceptance letter or don’t receive anything?

Can you check the status or something? Seems weird that there’d be no way to see if you got rejected.
