Question!

Is it better if I take advanced functions and calc at the advanced levels and only get about 83%, or take them at the regular level and get 90% or more? Either way I will write AP calc exam.

Is this advanced class offered at your school or local college? How many other people in your class elect to take this option? Would you learn a lot more?

It’s at my high school and there are less than 65 students taking the courses advanced. I know I can handle the material, but it’s just the teacher’s tests that get me. I think I did poorly on the last test but that was totally my fault and I blanked. I think I would learn more if I stuck with it because we cover material that the regular classes don’t.

Are you taking AP Calc to learn…or just to pass a test? If you actually want to have some additional skills to flaunt and gain a new view on physics, theories of mathematics, and the world around you…i say you take that advance class!!!

But there lies the sad truth…who really learns to learn these days?

You’re challenging yourself Leftyy and I think that is what matters.
