Question

Collegeboard and wikipedia list USC’s avg. UW GPA of the 2006 admits as 3.7, but the USC website says 3.8?

haha Im just hoping collegeboard is right because my GPA is weak, but anybody got an answer?

3.8 is accepted, 3.7 is enrolled.

BTW, USC’s admitted student profile has both.

Wow, that’s weird. I was just looking at that too.

On Wikipedia, under Academics, it says

but then under admissions it says

On the USC Freshman Profile for 2006, it says the GPA of admitted students was 3.8. However, the GPA of matriculating students was 3.7. So that’s where the ambiguous statements come from.

Essentially, the unweighted average GPA of people they admitted was 3.7.

Edit: Gah, sfgiants beat me to it!

official stuff ^

alright got it! haha, wishful thinking…
