<p>I am currently attending a community college in Los Angeles and am enrolled in ROTC at UCLA. Since I am in college now, will USMA look at my high school stats, or college, or both? Lets just say I am doing better in college than I did in High School.</p>
<p>They will look at both and will want to see a strong improvement in your academic record while in college. Maturity is always a good thing in the eyes of admissions and they want to see if you are maturing in college or just holding your own. Consider it another way, if you’re just doing so-so in college, what makes an admissions officer think you’ll do better at the academy where things are going to be a whole lot rougher? Prove your worth by proving your mettle. Kind of a “tough love” approach.</p>
<p>Do admissions officers like to hear/see colloquial language when describing your desires to go to WP? As in would it best be stated “I hope to be a freshman in 2008” or “I hope to be a plebe in 2008”. Or things like “I will not be lowest in my class” or “I wont be the goat” etc.</p>
<p>And do they like to hear “Go Army, Beat Navy” and “Hooah”?</p>
<p>IMO at this point I would keep it professional if this is for your application.</p>

Hooah might be a little over the top but depends upon the context. Again, in an essay for your application I would keep it professional.</p>
<p>If you develop an email relationship - later on - you might want to sign off “Go Army, Beat Navy” or “Hooah”.</p>
