<p>According to the chart below, the “average” boy grows about an inch between 16 and 20. However, boys on the shorter end of the spectrum seem to gain about 2 inches in the same time period. The OP can hope :)</p>

<p>It’s pretty rare to see people significantly grow pass the age of 18. </p>
<p>When I was in 7th grade I was 5"7", something like that - then by the time basketball season came around the following year I was about 6"1".</p>
<p>When I graduated high school I was 6"4", and haven’t grown an inch sense, most don’t.</p>
<p>It’s genetics, not much you can do.</p>
<p>I had an English teacher who graduated high school at 5’10. By the time he graduated college, he was 6’7. </p>

<p>And btw, I was SUPPOSED to be 5’5", according to my doctor. And here I am, almost 19, and am only 5’3.5". Slightly shorter than the average American woman.</p>
