Questions about Barron's Math2c Book

I just received the book and have just started using the book. I think I’ll have to cram everything in a week along with PR’s Physics book. I was looking through chapters and notice that last 2 chapters were about how to use graphing calculator and program it. Since I don’t have any graphing calculator, I don’t have to review those chapters, right?? Is there a big advantage of using Ti-xx?

For people like US kids who never solved polynomials without a graphing calculators, this will be a serious disadvantage. But I guess that you spent most of your precalc/calc without graphing in Mongolia, so it should be fine. Nothing (I really mean it) can replace your brain. Sometimes, not using a graphing calculator will be beneficial to you in the long run, and sometimes it will even benefit you on level 2 problems.

However, without a graphing calculator, you have to be shrewd in your approach to the problem, master your polar graphs/cartesian graphs (know the rational/polynomials/binomials/ hyperbola etc… like the back of your hand)
BTW, cramming is never a good idea, tho if you have a strong math foundation, you can still get a decent score.

Barron Math 2c sucks! the answer explanation for 8 tests re the most annoying things i ve even seen in my life, alot problems which the answer is completely different to the explanation.
