Questions About Business School?

I would describe myself as only a decent student who is a lot more motivated when work than in school. I expect to graduate with a GPA anywhere from a 2.7-3.0. I'm an Economics major with a concentration in Finance. Later on, I'd to get an MBA. My question is, do I have a chance of getting into any half-way decent program? I'm not the best test taker either, so I won't have spectacular GMAT scores. If my job resume is impressive, will this be enough for me to get into a school like Arizona State? What other schools have pretty good programs like ASU, but aren't extremely difficult to get into?

You will be fine for ASU, for a top 10 school the 25th percentile is usually around 2.8-3.0.

Sorry, don't mean to hijack the thread, but what about a 3.7 GPA in undergrad and 3.5 in grad school (both in EE), and 4 years of work experience plus some marketing-related extracurricular activities (marketing committee in a non-profit organization), what are my chances of getting into one of the top MBA programs? Thanks in advance!

Sorry for double-posting. I forgot to mention that I haven't taken the GMAT yet, but I expect to get 700+ on it, which is what I got on my GRE.

The GRE quant is easy. The difference is whether you did well on the verbal and reading comp.

What do you think my chances are?

Hello? Anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Its very difficult to assess someone's chances for MBA programs as a lot of soft factors are involved for admissions criteria. It isn't like law school where your numbers will get you in. Instead, the biggest factors are work experience (which for you is pretty decent) and leadership potential shown through raises and promotions.
