Let’s say you created your own business plan. But you don’t want to let anyone copy it. Is there like a business patent or copyright that I have to sign up?

unless its a invention/physical item that you thought up of, i dont think there are any patent for plans/ideas.

you can just hide it and not tell anyone of make them sign a contract if you do tell them.

you can file a patent on a certain way your company does certain things…thats what my boss did to prevent other companies from copying his business… lot of legal drafting involved though…

Yes, there was this case in which Bikram Chowdary (or something like that) patented Yoga. He argued that individual poses were in public domain but the order of the poses in which he taught the students could be patented (and he won). His main argument I think was Do-Re-Ga-Ma was in public domain but the music produced using it could be copyrighted.

So I guess you can patent the “order” of doing things.
