Can freshman join the campuses news publications?
Yes. You have to write for 5 issues consecutively to become a staff reporter.
What is the level of commitment on The Choate News?
^ above. But anybody can write at any time, staff reporters just need to do that.
What do students spend their summers doing?
Internships, camp, etc.
How many hours of homework a night do freshman receive?
Roughly 45 min per class, you can have anywhere from 2-5 classes a day. (Classes are almost always every other day).
How often do students go to New York/Boston for weekend trips?
Once a month?
Are there any equestrians at the school?
I don’t know, but you can arrange a chaperone.
What is your favorite thing about Choate?
Diversity.

Yeah, but if you don’t try to make friends you might not make them as easily
