<p>hey, does anyone know if it’s possible to drop a class or audit a class without getting the credits? and if it is possible to drop, when is the usual deadline after the starting of each quarter? And if you can audit a class, is there a place to sign up for auditing a class etc?

<p>To audit, you talk with individual profs, unless it’s a big lecture in which case you can sign up on Axess. The drop deadline is usually around 5 weeks into the quarter - if you drop before then it disappears from your transcript. You can always withdraw from a course, in which case it shows up as W/E on your transcript (for withdrawn/failing) but does not factor into your GPA. The add deadline is usually 3 weeks into the quarter, but you really need to do it before then, otherwise you will be hoplelessly behind.</p>
