<p>That is plagiarism and can cause the collegeboard to have your scores canceled. I hope you realize that is extremely dishonest. The SAT essay is designed to test your writing ability, not your ability to memorize someone else’s writing, in any extent or form. Your essay should be an original draft on an idea that comes from your own thinking.</p>
<p>Colleges receive a copy of your essay along with your scores. If, for some reason, it were ever discovered that you plagiarized your essay, your school could dismiss you for dishonesty in the admissions process. I know Harvard willingly rescinds the degrees of its graduates whose admissions records from years past are found to contain dishonest material.</p>
