Do Deerfield, Choate, Hotchkiss, or St Paul’s have many problem-based math assignments and tests? For those who may not understand the question, problem-based assignments are comprised mostly word problems, similar to the Exeter math workbooks.

My kid doesn’t like these problems and would prefer regular math problems rather than word problems.

Are tests at these schools mostly word problems or just regular mathematical problems?
