I did an “internship” with the Mercury News for 2 weeks over the summer. Can I get a teacher from the internship to write a rec to count for one of these requirements? Or does it have to be a regular teacher?</p>
<p>it has to be a regular teacher who taught you in a core academic subject. however, in addition to the required 2 teacher recs, you have the option of sending in one additional rec. this rec can be done by someone who can give new insights about you, in this case it would be your teacher from the internship.</p>
