I’m currently in my senior year and i plan to go to university in the us next year, the only problem is I’m planning to major in chemical engineering and most schools require sat subject\sat oefl for that, the fall admissions are closing soon and when i tried to register for all of those exams they were in jan(where i have finals everyday for 3 weeks), i was wondering is it okay to apply for the spring term? does that mean that I’ll have more time to study and take my sats and other required exams?

The problem you face is that many universities do not admit freshman for spring term and that generally includes any of your higher ranked colleges.

Also be aware, if you are planning to take tests, that you cannot possibly take the SAT and the SAT subject tests on the same test date. So for that Jan test date you can take SAT or SAT subject tests but not both.

Read through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://educationusa.state.gov/) then make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center closest to where you live [EducationUSA | Find an Advising Center](http://www.educationusa.info/centers.php) If you can’t meet with them in person, get some help from them by email or telephone. They have seen and heard it all before. They will be able to tell you whether or not you have time to apply for the fall term in 2013 or not. They also will be able to tell you which colleges and universities here have admitted students like you in recent years, and whether or not those students received any financial aid that they needed.
