<p>At Duke, how important is area, family (father, uncle, 2 grandfathers attended), and involvement with the school (cancer walks, etc.)? I am not anticipating direct info, but any rumors/experience info would be nice.</p>
<p>I think every little bit helps, and being involved w/ the school is certainly a plus b/c it shows commitment. Being a multiple-generation legacy will also help. From what I’ve heard, it has a pretty large bearing if your parents are doners.</p>
