<p>There are a couple of parents of Deerfield kids here. Ask away and if we dont have the answer we will ask our kids.</p>
<p>do you know anything about the big sister/ big brother program that Deerfield does with an elementary school? and how students are involved in it?</p>
<p>BBBS starts Junior year. I think you apply Sophmore year, but that may not be right. Not everyone gets a match, depends on the number of kids participating, etc. You have to commit to do two years. The kids are from the Greenfield/Deerfield area and are dropped off on campus most Friday late afternoons when school is in session. There are some organized activities and some independent time on the Deerfield campus.</p>
