I really like New Paltz but unfortunately I will not be able to visit the campus because I got a summer research fellowship at a university in Michigan.
I have some questions for New Paltz grads:
- How would you rate the rigor of the coursework? I am transferring from a CC and to me the courses here were incredibly easy. I aced all my classes simply by doing the assigned homework.
- How is the public transportation system in New Paltz? Can I survive without a car? What if I live off campus?
- How well does the typical NP alum do?
- How hard is it to get jobs on campus? As an international student, I am not allowed to work off campus and would have to work on campus to pay rent.
