Questions from an admitted student.!!

I’ve been admitted to P’ton class09!!!Yeshhhhhh!!

Question #1
Are there any other documents required before classes start in Fall?
High School Transcript?
Diploma?
Yet another School Report?
Anything else?

Question #2
After sending in the card saying that I plan to attend P’ton, is there going to be another packet sent off to me?

Question #3
The time for course registration is between Apr.22-Apr.29 (2004), what if I haven’t received my NetID by this time? What if I am taking AP exams in May and might earn advanced placement? Can I change course selection after the allocated time for registration?

Question #4
The schedule of my last semester has changed dramatically from what I had previously stated in my application, would that affect my admission decision? (I decided to take a semester off, but i have already earned my diploma)

Waiting for YOUR replies!!! thx!!!

aqaqaq. CONGRATULATIONS…welcome aboard and join the party…

to answer ur questions, i think

 1. Yes, you need to submit final HS transcripts
 2. after u send the card…u will get a lot of package from pton, from what i have heard
 3. i dont know about netid…but i do know that u can change the courses anytime before the start of the semester (provided that there are spaces available)
 4. dont have much idea…

again, welcome aboard…

Question 1: Oh, there will be a ton of forms to send off. They’re going to mail them to us, though, so you don’t have to worry about it yet. All required forms from our school will be outlined in future mailings.

Question 2: There will be a lot of packets mailed to you over the summer once you matriculate. I think they’re waiting for the beginning of May to come so that they’ll know who all’s officially in the class to start sending off stuff.

Question 3: Where did you hear this? I’ve heard from multiple sources that we don’t register for classes until September…which would make sense considering many classes (freshman seminars, HUM studies, creative writing workshops) are by application only. Could be wrong though.

Question 4: I honestly don’t think it would be that big of a deal, but just make sure you let them know. They’ll let you know when you talk to them.

And finally:

Congratulations!
Welcome to the Class of 2009!!!

Thanks so much adides and phil!!!
See ya all soon in Fall!!!

In re number 3, I believe that’s only for already admitted students - i.e. the current freshmen, sophomores, juniors. We dont’ register for classes until September, after we meet with our advisors and all.

Yeah. Prettyfish is right. Frosh registration is during orientation week? in Fall, and placement tests are May/June so don’t panic.

WELCOME PRINCETONIAN!!!
