Questions on religions, bio, and writing, help!

I’m interested in how religions are taught at Pomona (and since I suppose one can take religion classes at the other Claremont schools as well…). Are all the major religions represented? Is there discussion of the mystical/metaphysical traditions? (Eckhart, Nargajuna, Sankara, Ibn al’Arabi…?) Are they treated as deep or ‘just’ academically?

And how is the biology department? And writing, fiction and poetry.

Anyone who knows about these things or can find someone to tell me…I will be very, very appreciative.

Check the course catalogue to see what is taught. If you’re interested in practising mystical paths and not just enjoying armchair mysticism, LA is full of mystical/esoteric/etc. religous centers-- The Gnostic Society and the Builders of the Adytum to name just 2 I’m familiar with. There are lots of others as well.
