Questions regarding courses for BSE (EE) student

Hey everyone. I am an incoming SEAS freshman, and I have a few questions that I hope current/past Penn engineering (or any other) students can answer:

How do you switch from BSE degree to BAS degree? Do I have to wait until school starts?

I have several AP scores that I want to use to fulfill reqs. How and when may I do that?

Is it possible to take Wharton courses from the first semester in freshman year (e.g. Management 101 in Wharton)?

Can anyone give me a mock schedule (with specific course codes) of an EE student. I found the mock schedule on the SEAS website, but it lacks course codes so I can’t seem to find the course named “Intro to Electrical and Systems Engineering.”

Thanks in advance!

Go to your advisor in the beginning of the year to request a change.

The qualifying AP Credit should transfer automatically to your transcript. To put them in as reqs you would also do that with your SEAS advisor.

Are you referring to MGMT 100 or MGMT 101? I think the fall MGMT 100 is reserved for Wharton students only, but in the Spring you can probably take it. Whereas MGMT101 doesn’t seem to have any prereqs.

To check out the course requirements for EE students check out this link:

There is a mock schedule here too.

Hope this helps!

Sweet. Thanks a lot!
