This pertains to my friend and my twin sister, who are both juniors.

They both recently received their March SAT scores and would like to know if they have a shot at their desired universities.

Sister:
800W, 730CR, and 600M (2130)

Like me, she aspires to attend:
Cornell
Stanford
Brown
UC schools

Friend:
580W, 580CR, and 560M (1740)

Her choices:
SMU
Texas A&M
UT
Boulder
UC schools

Could the huge discrepancy between my sister’s math and other two scores and my friend’s low scores prevent them from attending these universities? Both have decent extra curricular activities, good letters of rec, and have some great essays planned.

in any case, they will be retaking the SAT and taking subject tests as well as the ACT
