questions

Would appreciate and in put on the following…

  1. Course registration – (how tough to get classes you want?, etc)
  2. Grading – fair, tough, curves?
  3. Quality of professors
  4. Library & other study space available (is there enough? How about during
midterms/finals?)
Interested econ, history, political science in particular
    Thank you!

1) Like every other college, your choices are the worst for first year students. But my D has not complained much about not being able to get into a class. Sometimes 2 classes she wanted were offered at the same time. But, overall, not a big problem.

2) Probably fair. But you do have a lot of work, usually, for each class. Have heard nothing about curves from D. She does a lot of writing.

3) Excellent. Only one or two (D is a senor) that she didn’t like or had trouble with. The professors are very student friendly and do a lot of research.

4) D has no problem finding study space in the main library–and she goes very often. She has on a few occasions said there was no computer available when she did not bring her own. There are also small libraries available in other buildings.

Good luck.
