When do we hear about scholarships?

Can I take a different college’s writing class even though I’m in a different one?

Can I still do Thurgood Marshall’s minor for public service?

Anyone in sixth?!

You should find and apply to scholarships yourself, they just don’t come knocking at your door. Here the link: [UCSD Scholarships for Entering Freshmen](Scholarships for Entering First-Year Students) After you apply, then you will hear whether you got it or not.

No, you cannot take another college’s writing class because those are not your GE classes. For example, if you are in sixth college, you have to take CAT, you cannot take Marshall’s DOC writing program.

Yes, you can because it is open to ALL undergraduates in good standing; Here’s the link: [Public Service Minor ? Thurgood Marshall College](http://publicsvcminor.ucsd.edu/)
Direct quote: The minor in public service is open to all UCSD students in good standing."

I’m going to attempt right now to enroll in another college’s writing program to see if it will let me. Update soon…

Edit: it won’t let me. So no, you won’t be allowed to take DOC.
sorry

let me know!

you could probably email your college and petition to take the other college’s writing program. It wouldnt count for yours, but if you just wanted to take it for interest they would let you. You would probably have to wait a quarter or so, or after you have taken your own college’s writing course to see if you will be able to handle taking the other one too
