He’s just annoyed because its not proper “internet etiquette” to “bump” your post to the top when its still at the top. You bump when it falls to the next page.

thanks for calmly exlaining, llpitch. Ill be sure to wait till it goes to the next page

The funny thing is, for all your hours of karate, you’d go down like a sack of bricks against my brazilian jiu jitsu. I love sparring/grappling with the karate black belts.

lol, what a helpful post. if it helps, I also wrestle, so I might be able to handle your grappling.

your scores are only mediocre, but the fact that you are a legacy gives you a huge boost. but because of your so-so scores, i think applying regular should give you an advantage. you def have a chance!

lol i dunno why I made that post. I had to flex my E-muscles I guess… or I was drunk. my bad!

lol no problem

Stanford admissions is pretty unpredictable. Just try your best and write good essays.
If you are interested, try re-taking your SAT. 2100 is low for Stanford. I’m not familiar with ACT scores though, if 34 is a good score (I’m not sure what ACT is out of b/c I never took it in HS then maybe they’ll be ok with the 2100. But if you have time, try to see if you can get it to a 2200 or higher).

The ACT is out of 36, so i think my 34 is roughly a 2260 or 2280. I might take the SAT 1 again to see if I can match this score, but more likely I will take the math 2 subject test and try for a 750+ because stanford reccomends taking it. thanks for your input, topeka

hey Xargon42, good luck. try barrons for math 2 subject test; its super hard and prepares you well.

Ill look it up, thanks topeka.

bump, off front page

wow, you’re really relentless with the bumps lol i think you’ve gotten a pretty good idea of how you stand from the previous posters… you have great grades and pretty good sat/sat2 scores with pretty good ecs… not a slam dunk (who is?) but i don’t think you’ll be rejected… if you get in you should thank mom/dad

bump! bump! bump!

Xargon, did you get your EA at Stanford?

yea, I did. geez this is an old thread…

I’d say you have a good chance but like cdz512 says you really never know…the legacy should help and its very cool and unique that you do karate.

lol thanks for the chance, but I already got in

Xargon42, I’d say you have a 100% chance, but you never know… LOL

congrats for getting in, was your essay like amazing?
