Quick grammar and math questions

Improving Sentences: I narrowed it down to two options, and chose the former. Apparently, the answer is the latter, but why?

Billy fell from the roof to the driveway without have broke a single bone.

C. Without breaking a bone.
D. Without having broken a single bone.

Grid-ins: So I got this right, but I don’t think I did it right…

The starting five players on a basketball team score an average of 84 points per game. Stacey scores twice as many points as Lucy and Rachel each score. Lucy and Rachel each score three times as many points as Anna and Elizabeth each score. On average, how many more points per game does Stacey score than Elizabeth? (The answer is 30).

Total scores/game: 84*5 = 420

Assuming that Rachel and Lucy score the same amount per game,
S = 2L or 2R

Assuming that Anna and Elizabeth and score the same amount per game,
L = 3E or 3A

For convenience, let’s just use L = 3E. Therefore, S = 2(3E).

Now, add everything together in terms of E, keeping in mind that L = R and A = E.
S + L + R + A + E:

6E + 3E + 3E + E + E = 420
14E = 420
E = 30
S = 6E, or 180

Since there are 5 games, E scores 6 per game, and S scores 36 per game.
36-6 = 30

Hope this isn’t too confusing…

This is what I did but I forgot to divide by 5 (since there are five games) once I found S. That explains so much. Thanks! Can anyone help with the grammar question??
