<p>In my Common App essay, I have a line that says</p>
<p>“With it comes responsibilities, ones that I’ll always account for”</p>
<p>Is this correct? Gramatically, it should be “come”, but everyone reading it says “comes”.</p>
<p>Which one should I choose?</p>
