Hello All,

I’ve been going through all of the potential essays they can ask you listed on the ETS website, and a few look particularly vague and difficult to respond to in any depth. For example consider this one:

“True success can be measured primarily in terms of the goals one sets for oneself.”

Can anyone offer any relevant bullet points with which to base an essay around? I can probably just riff and meander on about how one shouldn’t view oneself in terms of outside metrics etc, but I like to actually site a concrete fact or two; a relevant quote from a historical figure, a study that was conducted, etc. Thanks!
