In the past years of school, I didn’t do much of anything. I didn’t venture out and try a bunch of clubs, didn’t enter any competitions/contests, didn’t join organizations and volunteer for them. Except for one extracurricular, the piano, which I’ve been playing for quite a few years, and a couple clubs I’ve been in since ninth grade, I didn’t have anything to prove I had been productive.

Now, in tenth grade, I have gotten my act together and am doing the opposite of everything mentioned above. Will this seem suspicious to colleges, who’ll be seeing a bunch of extracurriculars listed as done for three years and only a few listed as done for longer, or commendable, as it shows that I took initiative during tenth grade?
