<p>I live in New York and I plan on applying to CMC… my guidance counselor told me that CMC doesn’t get too many applicants from NY… do you think this will give me a slight advantage say over the same applicant from CA?</p>
<p>short answer… no
this only really works in states like wyoming or montana
but even then it might not matter</p>
