Quick question about remaining classes are rounded out.

Ok, so i understand that X amount of appointments go out. But understanbly not everyone takes up the appointment. Where does the reamaining peopel get picked from? Is their a “national waiting list” of sorts? Does anybody know how that process works?

1st - they get picked from their nomination source. Eg, if the first choice cadet in the district turns WP down, the 2nd will be selected, etc until a cadet accepts from a district or that district runs out of triple q’d, nominated cadets.

2nd - there is, in fact, a NWL consisting of all triple-q’d cadets with noms but no appointments. They are ranked by WPS and usually come off the list in April/May.

Hugh you better work on your spelling or you won’t be able to get into Community College.

his spelling? i see few errors. Not everyone can spell well but that doesnt mean they should go to a community college. Next time, Boss, dont comment on trivial things like that…it offends people and its not needed

I disagree, jq722. Spelling is not trivial; this is someone who wants to be an Army officer and will need to be able to communicate well in writing. Also, Hugh will need to be able to spell and write well just to get in, considering all the paperwork that needs to be filled out.

Writing well is not trivial.
