Quick Question

Is there an email address for georgetown U that i can use to ask them questions because I havent been able to find it anywhere! Thanks

It depends on what kind of questions you have. There isn’t just one general email address obviously. We can probably answer whatever questions you have or atleast point you in the right direction. If you want to ask a question of an admissions counselor to show your interest talk to your college counselor about getting an email address for your representative- I remember it being really difficult to find that address.

You can try guadmiss@georgetown.edu

thanks guys…i was just wondering if the ACT and SAT in October that im taking will be sent to Georgetown in time if I’m applying early action.

also…are scores of CR: 620 Math: 610 Writing: 690 good enough to get into Georgetown. Everything else on my app. will be very good, but I’m just worried about the SAT scores.

Yes it will be. I did that last year.

The cut-off date is the November SAT. And since this years test is the one with “quicker” scoring, you should have no worries my friend. Just make sure you have them rush delivered. I think it is only a few dollars extra.

Oh and to answer your question about your scores; all but the writing are a bit below the average for Georgetown. But take my advice into this process–with numbers, the admission process is a craps shoot, but with a good essay you have the opportunity to make yourself glow. Remember, numbers are not everything! :)

You actually should NOT have your scores rush delivered…it’s more of a hassle for admissions because of the way they are sent (paper copies that have to be sorted by hand and filed, I think). Even though the College Board says it takes several weeks for the scores to get to the school, they will get sent sooner, so no worries there. Just make sure you indicate that you will be taking the SAT on a specific date so the admission officers know to look for the score from that date.

Thanks, you guys have been very helpful
