I applied to USC as a Junior under the Resident Honors Program, which allows students to skip senior year in high school. USC usually sends out scholarship notifications (which every RHP acceptee gets) early Febuary. Knowing that, couple days ago, an admission officer from USC called me to ask for my 1st semester Junior grades. Problem is, my 1st semester isn’t over. So,I gave her a 15 week report card, which was straight A’s, and told her my grades haven’t changed. Usually, my school gets the 1st semester report card almost 3 weeks into Febuary. So, the question is, why do they want my 1st semester report card? I’ve asked other applicants but the admission officer never asked them for a final 1st semester report card.

The other applicants you asked, did they apply under the Resident Honors Program as well?

yes they did

If you cannot turn it in right now, that’s too bad for the admissions people. They will have to use whatever you gave them.
