Is it possible for a college to ever look back, in future years, on a high school students’ resume and realize their was something they didn’t like and kick that person out of their school? I’ve already been accepted to the school of my choice, but I ask because one of my EC, I thought I would be doing for the year, but didn’t end up doing (I only went to a couple of meetings)- so me just being paranoid, or will colleges ever look back into that?

Simply, no. The odds of them looking back are extremely slim, close to nonexistant. However, if someone does submit a complaint, you can be removed for dishonesty on the application.

Most likely, no. But it would also depend on your college. For example, if it’s a college with a strict honor code, such as UVa, then you may get a warning of sorts, but I highly, highly doubt you would get kicked out.

Never mind actually.

Colleges have better things to do than to look back at a previous student’s resume(who they already admitted 3 years ago) and check to see if a student did or did not do something they said they would do and rescind admissions or even the degree.

I mean, if it’s a big thing like they find out you actually didn’t win the state championships like you put on your resume, they might go back but again, if they did not catch it while they were initially reviewing your app it’s a long shot they ever go back.

And, if the college can’t check it easily by looking on a website they won’t bother. You really think 5 years from now after you graduate and the college decides to run checks on the graduating class (minuscule chance of that happening anyway) and they see you wrote “member of chess club” or “worked at a pawn shop during senior year” they would ask you to prove it? Highly, highly unlikely.
