Quick SAT score question

<p>Just curious, if a college considered all portions of the SAT reasoning test - verbal, math, writing…</p>

<p>Would they look favorably on a well rounded score or a lopsided one?</p>

<p>Well rounded being like : V: 720 M: 700 W: 720
or
Lopsided one: V: 750 M: 750 W: 640</p>

<p>Your lopsided score doesn’t make much of a difference because the writing section doesn’t hold much weight with adcoms. And it’s obvious that the reading and math are well-rounded on both of the score examples.</p>

<p>ya, for an international student, is 800 M 800 W 700 CR considered good or would the CR score bring me down? :|</p>

<p>They give you a break if English is not your first language. Getting a 720 on Critical reading in a foreign language is a feat. However, Math+CR are more important than writing, and high scores are always better.</p>
