<p>I am trying to order a laptop from HP’s website, but I am not sure how to ship to residence halls. HP states, “We do not ship to PO boxes.” Does this affect residence hall shipping? Also, how would I input my residence hall address into Address lines 1 and 2? I usually only use address line 1, but the residence hall address (# COUZENS, COUZENS HALL, 1300 EAST ANN ST) seems to use more than line 1. Would the above be put into line 1, or separated into two lines? There is another question on the order form: “Does this address qualify as a residence?” Does they mean to ask whether it is a private residence? Basically: yes or no? Thanks.</p>
<p>Just put line 1 1300 East Ann Street and line 2 Couzens Hall Room # (as if it were an apartment). As to the residence question, that is because the shipping rate for UPS is different if it’s going to a business. So, since you live there, and it’s not a business, this would qualify as a residence.</p>
<p>When you ship big boxes to your dorm, does the front lobby just hold it for you until you pick it up?
cause my friend at emory sends big boxes to a special designated student center with a separate address where they can pick it up.
