<p>I submitted both part 1 and part 2 of my application to SIPA. I understand that despite everything being in, the application will say that it is incomplete for some time afterwards--that's a common concern, but not mine.</p>
<p>My concern is underneath where it says "Application Status: Incomplete". Underneath there, there is a section for Transcripts and GRE scores. As SIPA doesn't require official transcripts or test scores for admission, and only requires unofficial ones uploaded in part 2, I thought for sure when I submitted part 2 online that these fields would update with "received". However this did not happen, whereas the Statement of Purpose and Resume sections came up as showing received immediately. The GRE score and Transcript sections still show "Not received". My application was submitted a week ago, so if it was supposed to auto-update upon submission, it should have done so long before now even if there was a delay.</p>
<p>Seeing as these sections are listed under where it says "Application Status: Incomplete", one would logically assume that these subsections must show complete before the application can be truly complete. However, since SIPA doesn't require official test scores or transcripts, this is a bit of a conflict in that it seems the application can never truly be complete without them. Therefore, my question is this--which scores and transcripts does that subsection refer to? Official copies (though not required unless offered admission) or the unofficial copies uploaded in part 2?</p>
<p>Sadly I just called SIPA to clear this simple issue up for me and I realize they are inundated with questions but the girl seemed more than unhelpful and told me she would take care of this before shuffling me right off the phone and hanging up on me--without even taking my name.</p>
