<p>Wouldn’t it need to be (by the loss of faith) in order to be parallel? It isn’t a choice but, I chose (by people which have lost faith) in order to keep it parallel.</p>

<p>“Loss of faith” avoids wordiness. You can consider it parallel because “inflation” is a noun.</p>
