<p>It sounds like the Freshman-Sophomore College (FroSoCo) housing would be good for you. The dorm has a reputation for being quiet, intellectual, and a bit quirky. You definitely won’t find parties here. There are also residential tutors and Dean Bravman for academic advising, who lives right next door and frequently invites students to BBQs.</p>
<p>i want fun activities and a lot of nice social interaction, just not the partying loud music type. Would frosoco lake a social scene?</p>

<p>im your complete opposite and hence am choosing (probably) to go to penn. it might be due to the fact that i was only there for AW, when parties are strictly controlled and alcohol forbidden, but i found stanford’s social scene to be just what you’re looking for. having said that, i do know that u can drink to your heart’s content there and it wont be a big issue. also students insist (most of them, not all that i talked to) in that they really have tons of fun when its not AW. people there are awesome and really friendly and brilliant (you def wont have problem finding intellectual ppl there, u might find too many, but i think thats a good thing). its not like u dont party at stanford at all, but i think you’ll def find what you’re looking for</p>
