I don’t think people can expect to hear until early December based on past years…, but if anyone catches wind of exact date, I would love to hear!

My son has 3.5 UW, 3.7 W. TO, played sports, community service, etc. Applied as a Business major. Hopefully we’ll hear soon!

now that it is December, I feel like we will be portal-stalking a lot:) I am hoping for Thurs/Friday release for EA!

It looks like last year, the first EA decisions were released on 12/7 and there were several waves of release depending on major.
My kid applied to the ELMPA program and historically, that major had a later decision release. However, I saw (on the parent fb page) one parent state their daughter applied ED and was already accepted into ELMPA. I’m holding onto hope that we haven’t heard simply because my kid applied EA not ED.

interesting! I did see somewhere they came out out starting 7th or 8th last year, but didn’t realize it was by major.
I would be surprised if EA was out already but have no way to know that for sure!
The instagram showed they admitted a couple of kids (in person, which I think they do as a social media “stunt”) before thanksgiving. I assumed they were ED given it was SO early.
I assume ELMPA is most competitive? That is probably why it takes longer? Mine applied for a STEM major, not health-related.
We were told ELMPA is their most selective major with a sub-10% admit rate, but who knows if they say the same to other majors

I wouldn’t worry. ED heard already but not EA applicants. I do think it will be this week, especially for those who got their applications in early, like August/September.

Nothing on my son’s portal. Nursing major. Hopefully that major comes out later.
How do you get emails? My son is so calm about it all. I wish I could get notifications to spur him on.
We made an email just for college apps, we both have access to it. (it isn’t what they have for school, or for personal use). We both have followed the schools they applied to on IG to get a flavor of them.
They have some exec function challenges, so this worked for us. (I’d rather they concentrate on school work and those deadlines that come in about 4 different ways at their school -sigh) and backstop requests for portals and such. (Note my other kid is entirely different and likely won’t need/want to do that at all).
And they were accepted! Good merit and direct to 4+1 master’s! woo-hoo.

I wouldn’t be surprised if nursing and the competitive health majors are last…(though have no real insight!) Mine was not health related…
Daughter just got in! Invited into the honors program as a behavioral neuroscience major with 34k in merit. 97 gpa, multiple sports, tutoring, etc
