I do not know if it will affect my admission chances, but honest to god I hate band. My friends are not close anymore since we got into this big argument, and I just don’t feel the same passion for music anymore. I am just going through a hard time right now, and people in band just make it worse. The main problem is that I based a UC essay off of my passion for music and I don’t know how they will react. Will it affect my chances at all for state colleges like csu’s?
We had a similar question about academic decathlon and We were told it was not a CORE class and it would be OK to drop. Just double check with the adcoms at the school you are applying too
