Race to 9001

that makes sense. otherwise the future worlds might compete with each other in your mind and make each other less believable to you.

the last game i played was … smbb? i forget the abbreviation :P.

Huh… I’m lost now? Are we talking about multidimensional stuffs?

Lol this thread

I’m guessing that I’m going to be in college before 9001.

This thread will remain steady like the economy unless we do something drastic. Also we must await the maker!

I think BillyMc underestimated how long it would take to 9001 posts and then forgot about it or thought it was too silly to continue

No he simply was gonna wait till post 9000. Something tell me he been watching all along.

Hmmm…someone asked for controversy, so I think I’ll oblige.

I hate people. Not like every single person, but I hate the “groupthink” model of human society. I hate the emphasis on collective thought, on “group work” and teamwork, and sharing and being “co-dependent.” I hate the decline of meritocracy and rise of “one for all” type of society. I despise the decline of the individual persona into the mob mentality. And so, I end up despising people in general, who are sheep, unwilling to break free of popular norms. That’s why we have bullying: not because people are “different” but because people are so consumed by the mob mentality that they cannot stand those who think freely. That’s why we have racism, xenophobia, etc. : because of ignorance and groupthink.

I hate people.

…That awkward moment when you cant tell whether or not he is pulling your leg or being serious…

I think it.both to be honest.

hasn’t it gone the opposite way? from a more interdependent society to one that focuses more on individuals and not the other way around?

How did it went to individual. I felt like things revolve around groups like black, gay, hispanic, or whatever. There are more people therefore people tend to tackle a group and not mere individuals.

I hate bigots
Prejudiced people are so freaking stupid
It scares me every time I hear a ****phobic person
All radicals should be put to death

you have no idea how much I can relate to you right now kypdurron…
what I meant was that culture has become more individualized. everyone’s desperate to “express themselves” and saying “I’m wierd. deal with it” is considered a good thing. it’s ironic because it’s those groups that people join to help them express themselves. everyone’s so afraid of being “normal” that they feel the need to group.
I hope that made sense :/

That’s what I thought.just wanted to express it in another way
And to vent because I hear that slot

But yet, this is also reply #6775

Omg roooaaaaaarrr.

This thread almost became scarily misanthropic.

So what’d you guys get on black Friday? Any deals?

I rushed to JCPenney to get me a pea coat lol and then went to Offbroadway to get some new shoes. I was soooooo happy to see that the pea coats were on sale.

Just now, in my head, I was like “I think they meant ‘on sail’”. Go me.

I guess none of the original posters are still in this thread.
