Because his motivation for being offended is based on an unamerican need to police the patriotism of others in a manner reminiscent of tinpot dictatorships and feeling entitled to control others’ behavior in an area where he has absolutely no right.
Especially considering it directly violates the first amendment rights of those he’s attempting to police.
