Rain boots.

Hunter boots are so expensive. My friend bought some for her dgt and they were $185. I think that was a bit much. My dd likes the ones at DSW and they have held up really well. The ones she bought for 19.99 at Totes did not. I believe they were Dirty Laundry brand - still wearing them after 3 years.

I have a pair of red short Hunters, as well as a pair of tall black Aigles. I recommend both brands, but if cost is a factor and/or if you’re in a bad shopping area and don’t like to order online, Hunter is probably more affordable and easier to find than Aigle.

If you a Costco member, you can save a few bucks on Hunter classic boots:

My D is another fan of Hunters. She lives in NYC and has had her boots for going on 4 years. She just bought a new pair of fleece liners when she was home in Ca for the holidays. She is loving them this week with all the snow and with the new cozy light wool socks I got her.

$79.99 at Costco is a really good price for Hunters.

Both D’s have Hunters and I have Kaviks. I really like them, very comfortable and have worn well. Since Younger D has a very small shoe size, we bought Children’s Size Hunters which were less money. I think we bought all these boots either on Nordstrom.com or Zappo’s.

I do have superfeet insoles in most of my shoes, but they work best if the shoe or boot is already somewhat supportive.
We have* really *high arches.
I also like muckboots because they not only have a steel shank for arch support but you can get them with steel toes.
