Rain Storms Eliminate Water

We survived the snow apocalypse [with the exception of one awful day in which I couldn’t get to work but nevertheless had a backache from trying to dig the car out of the snow] but now last week’s rain storm has left us…WITH NO WATER!

Apparently the storm caused a power outage at the reservoir. It’s 4 days since warnings were posted stating ‘not to drink or wash food in water from the tap.’ The first couple of days were manageable. It’s easy to boil and refrigerate enough water to drink a a day or two, but now it’s a chore.

Wow. Did you know today is World Water Day?

Hang in there…

We’ve been pumping it out of our basement for weeks. Want some?

^^^No water is alright by me too!

Last week, no electricity, but plenty of water. We finally got a generator (thank you Home Depot!). What’s going on with this weather?

PS: it’s raining today :(
