So… who agrees that the amazingly persistant constant downpour of rain, while definitely putting a bit of a damper on things, couldn’t detract from the fact that BDD was amazing and YALE ROCKS!

Tell me your favorite part of BDD! :D

Yale truly outdid itself with BDD. Such an amazing time with such nice and engaging people. I have never seen or experienced a more vibrant campus. Yale rocked it, even in the rain.

TOTALLY agreed.

I was completely blown away by how genuinely kind everyone was. It wasn’t just “Yale” that rocked it (as in the administration) … it was “Yale” as in the entire student community. EVERYONE was SO welcoming! I mean, current students were just striking up chats with us in the dining hall, and when I asked for directions like a lame prefrosh, they didn’t just point the way… they walked me to it! They were warm and silly and friendly and basically lived up to everything I thought Yale students would be.

Despite the rain (the horrible, icky, wet, cold rain) YALE IS AMAZING!! :D

See the other topic for my post.

^^Just did, absolutely amazing post!

I LOVED BULLDOG DAYS!

My highlights were definitely seeing Ann Fadiman’s master class–she was incredible–and the other students, not just the admits but current students. Everybody was so brilliant and friendly, and soooo far from stuck up! One great thing was sitting in my host’s dorm listening to her and her roommates talk; they were was even copying each other’s physics homework and making jokes about it. I know it probably sounds silly, but it made me really relieved to know that Yale students can take little breaks every now and then and be normal! I can’t wait for school to start in the fall!

I was at that master class =] lmao my dad fell asleep through it ><

My favorite master’s class was Professor Bailyn’s on black holes. He was hilarious, and extremely engaging.

So cool!
