i got a 2220 on the oct 4 sat: 800 CR, 750 W, and 670 Math (1st time i took)

im a junior and i get A’s in calc ab. but my math score obviously blows.
i took all the tests in the blue book, and got math scores slightly higher but in the same range

so what im asking is,
how does everyone get 800 in math? how/what do i study? im prob retaking in january, and i know if i can improve the math score i can easily get 2300+

advice? thanks

You are a junior, and you have a great score (congratulations), so there is no hurry to re-take in January. You have calc now, so my advice would be to wait until April or May to take it again so you have nearly the full year of calc.

^?
Calculus is useless when it comes to the SAT.
it’s all about logic.

The only way to improve it from a 650+ to a 800 is to eliminate silly errors.
I used an unusual strategy: working backwards from #16,18,20 to 1.

I don’t know why, but this works. (for me)
I got a 800 M in October.
